If you are checking who is behind this site, here it is in plain words: a small company in Vancouver, British Columbia, founded and led by Ben Tam, that builds and runs the New Renaissance Engine.
01 — The founder
Ben Tam.
Ben has founded companies since 2013. In 2018, before ChatGPT, he built adaptive teaching engines on large language models — software that read what a learner already knew and changed what it taught next. He founded a community of more than 130 founders in Vancouver.
The Engine comes out of that work: the departments a small company cannot afford to staff, built once and run for many. He leads every engagement New Renaissance Labs takes on, and he answers the email address at the foot of this page.
We are a small team by choice. We are not a consultancy reselling someone else’s software, and we are not a software company that hands you a login and leaves. We build the Engine, we run our own company on it, and we install it for others.

Three names, one system.
Three names appear on this site. They are one company and one system, and the storefronts are the same Engine sold one report or one tender at a time, to people who do not need an account.

03 — The mission
So that more people can build.
Technology that makes small companies as capable as large ones, so that more people can build. A company of four should be able to research a market, find its customers, answer a tender and draft a contract in the same week a company of four hundred can. When that is ordinary, more people will start companies, and more of them will last.
04 — How we work
Four things you can hold us to.
A website is easy to write and hard to verify, so we keep ours to claims you can check: on the pricing page, in the product, or in a demo workspace set up for you.
Every number on this site is read from the live system.
Counts and prices come from one file that changes when the system changes. Nothing is rounded up for effect, and nothing is stated that has not run in production.
The price before every run.
Every action shows its cost in credits and dollars before it starts, and a failed run is refunded. AI never touches your billing.
No invented logos or testimonials.
When a customer or partner agrees to be named, they appear here. Until then, the product itself is the proof: the screenshots on this site are real captures.
Every engagement is led by the founder.
There is no account team between you and the person who built the system. That is also why the services practice is capped at five clients at a time.
