The service
The New Renaissance Engine is a private AI business-intelligence platform operated by New Renaissance Labs (New Renaissance Capital Corp., Vancouver, BC, Canada). It connects to data sources you authorize — including Shopify stores via the New Renaissance Data Connector — and produces analytics, reports, and marketing drafts inside your private workspace.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for your credentials and for activity in your workspace. You must have authority over any store or data source you connect. We may suspend accounts that endanger the platform or other tenants.
Your data
You own your data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Connector access is read-only and scope-limited; disconnecting a source or uninstalling the Shopify app triggers deletion of that source's data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Credits and billing
Metered features consume workspace credits. Purchases made through Shopify are billed by Shopify under its checkout terms; other purchases are billed as displayed at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.
Acceptable use
No unlawful use, no attempts to breach tenant isolation or probe other workspaces, no reselling of platform output as your own automated service without written agreement, and no use of the platform to send spam or violate marketing-consent law (CASL, CAN-SPAM, GDPR).
AI output
Reports and drafts are generated with AI assistance and provided as decision support, not professional advice. Verify material facts before acting on them. You are responsible for content you publish from drafts the platform produces.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, New Renaissance Labs' aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim; we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We may terminate for material breach of these terms. Deletion of your workspace removes its data per the Privacy Policy.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date; continued use constitutes acceptance. Contact: ben@newrenaissancelabs.com.
