01 — How it works
From your website to a submitted bid, in four steps.
You do not have to describe your company in procurement language. The desk reads what you already publish, finds the tenders that fit, and writes the first draft. You decide what to chase.
01
Tell us what you do
Your website is enough. The desk reads it, builds a picture of your services, your regions and the work you have done, and keeps that picture in your Company Memory so it never has to ask twice.
02
We match live tenders and score the fit
Every notice from the 6 public feeds is read against that picture and scored out of 100. You see the buyer, the deadline and the reason it fits before anyone spends an hour on it.
03
The kit is drafted in your house style
For the ones worth chasing: a one-pager, a deck, a sales cheat-sheet and a full proposal draft, written to the buyer's requirements and in your own voice, not a template's.
04
You review and submit
The draft is yours to sharpen. Your team stays the author and the signatory; the desk keeps the calendar so no question deadline or closing date passes unnoticed.
02 — Where the tenders come from
Six public feeds today. Fourteen providers registered.
The desk reads the public tender feeds that need no key to access, every hour. Each notice carries its source, so you always know where a tender came from and where the desk is not yet looking.
| Feed | Region | What it covers | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| CanadaBuys | CA · Federal | Government of Canada departments and agencies. | Live |
| SEAO (Québec) | CA · Québec | Québec public bodies: ministries, municipalities, the health and education networks. | Live |
| TED (EU) | EU | Public procurement notices from across the European Union. | Live |
| UK Find a Tender | UK | United Kingdom public-sector contract notices. | Live |
| USAspending | US · Federal | United States federal contract awards. | Live |
| Grants.gov | US · Federal | United States federal grant opportunities. | Live |
| BC Bid, MERX, Bonfire | CA · Provincial | Sync not yet built; the grounded web sweep still finds many of their notices. | Roadmap |
A live row means the notices arrive on their own. A roadmap row means the sync is not built, and we say so rather than imply otherwise. 14 feed providers are registered on the Engine; 6 are live without a key today.
03 — Why bids get lost
Most lost bids were never fought.
Talk to a firm that should be winning public work and is not, and the story is one of the same three.
The tender you never saw.
Notices are posted across many portals in two languages, and the window is short. If nobody on your team reads the feeds every morning, the bid is over before it starts. This is the reason the scan exists.
The response that eats a week.
A manual response takes days of a senior person’s time: reading the requirements, chasing past project descriptions, formatting the forms. A small firm can afford that once a quarter, not once a week.
The rejection over a missing form.
Public buyers check compliance before they read for merit. One unsigned declaration or one absent appendix, and the technical response you laboured over is never scored.
The desk is built against those three. It reads the feeds every hour, scores every notice, and writes the first draft against the buyer’s requirements, so your senior people spend their hours sharpening a bid rather than starting one.
04 — Pricing
Two ways to buy.
Run the radar yourself on the Engine, or have New Renaissance Labs run the desk for you. Either way the price is shown before a run starts, and a run that fails is not charged.
Run it yourself
On the EngineThe radar and the desk, on your own plan.
Bids is one of seven departments on every Engine plan. The same credits also buy research, leads, contracts and content. You see the price before every run and never pay for a failed one.
Growth · 5,000 credits ($500)
Scale · 12,000 credits ($1,200)
| A tender sweep of the live feeds | 10 credits ($1) |
| A sales cheat-sheet for one tender | 150 credits ($15) |
| A full proposal kit | 350 credits ($35) |
Worked example. A month of 4 bids — 30 sweeps, 4 proposal kits and 4 cheat-sheets — comes to 2,300 credits ($230), inside a Growth plan with credits to spare.

05 — What a proposal kit contains
Four documents, one voice.
For each tender worth chasing, the desk produces the set a buyer expects to receive and a sales team needs to carry. The kit is 350 credits ($35); a cheat-sheet on its own is 150 credits ($15).
The Proposal Studio learns your house style from the proposals you have already written: how long your sentences run, how you structure a response, how you describe your own work. The tenth draft reads as if your team wrote it, because in the ways that matter, it did.

- 01
One-pager
The tender on a page: who is buying, what they need, when it closes, why you fit and what has to be decided. The document you forward to a partner to get a yes or a no.
- 02
Deck
A short deck that sets your offer against the buyer's requirements, section by section. Built for the go/no-go conversation and reused when the buyer asks for a presentation.
- 03
Sales cheat-sheet
The evaluation criteria, the dates, the questions to ask the buyer and the points to press, on one sheet for the person making the call.
- 04
Full proposal draft
The complete first draft, written against the requirements in your own house style. Your team edits, your signatory signs. Nothing leaves without you.
