White-label & partner programme · Law firms
A drafting floor and an investigation desk, run by your firm.
26 document types in 6 groups, drafted from each client’s own company memory with a required governing jurisdiction and a disclaimer that cannot be removed; purpose-gated investigations on people; and an append-only audit trail under every action. The documents are starting drafts. Your lawyers review them, and that review is the service.
01 — What you resell or run
Starting drafts, not legal advice.
The Legal Department is built on one sentence that appears at the top of every draft, in the PDF footer and above the Generate button: this is a starting draft, not legal advice, and a lawyer in the governing jurisdiction reviews it before use. It produces the working draft from the client’s own records so that the firm’s fee is spent on the part that needs a lawyer. Facts the memory does not hold are left as bracketed blanks, never invented, and every draft closes with a section of points to confirm with counsel.
The Legal Department
Live26 document types in 6 groups, 250 credits per draft. The governing jurisdiction is required; the counterparty is required where the type needs one. Drafted from the client's Company Memory and brand record in one pass, with no web search by design.
The automated-draft disclaimer
LiveA verbatim, non-removable notice is prepended to every draft, printed in the PDF footer and shown above the Generate button: an automated starting draft, not legal advice, to be reviewed by a lawyer in the governing jurisdiction before use. Nothing is signed, filed or sent.
Private Investigation
LiveResearch on a person from the live public web under a stated purpose. Business relationship, fraud prevention and litigation research are permitted; employment, tenancy, consumer credit, insurance and licensing are refused server-side. Standard 1,200, deep 2,800, background check 600 credits.
The data-subject channel
LiveA public, unauthenticated correction and suppression intake for the people a report names, with stated acknowledgement and resolution windows, rate-limited and reviewed by our operator. The report itself carries the verbatim non-CRA, data-scope and accuracy disclaimers.
The audit trail
LiveEvery action in a client workspace, by a person, the agent or an integration, lands on an append-only trail enforced at the database grant layer: who, what, when, with a filter by actor, action and date, and a CSV export for the matter file.
Executive Diligence and the reports
LiveFor transactions, the 15 report types include Executive Diligence on key people, Risk Assessment & Mitigation and Competitive Landscape Analysis, each at 800 credits at full depth, cheaper at a shorter depth, delivered in minutes with a live ETA.

02 — The catalogue and the rules
26 types, one jurisdiction rule, one disclaimer.
Jurisdiction. Free text, required. The handler refuses a draft with no governing law, because a contract with no jurisdiction is a default contract for somewhere the client does not live. British Columbia, Canada; Delaware, USA; England and Wales — the lawyer names it, the draft follows it.
Counterparty. Required, optional or absent by type, and labelled for the type: a Supplier on a vendor agreement, an Employee on an offer letter, a Licensee, a Target or acquirer on a letter of intent, a Lead investor on a term sheet. A privacy policy does not ask for one.
The disclaimer. Prepended to the body, printed in the footer, shown before the click, and unchangeable from the admin prompt editor. Employment, contractor, privacy, data-processing, term-sheet, SAFE, shareholder and cease-and-desist types carry an additional caution of their own.
The draft. Markdown body plus a PDF. There is deliberately no endpoint that edits the drafted text; editing happens in the firm’s own word processor on the downloaded copy. Drafts are archived, never deleted.

Automated draft — not legal advice. Have a lawyer in the governing jurisdiction review before use.
03 — A client engagement, end to end
Intake. Draft and review. Investigate and minute.
01
Intake
Provision the client's workspace under the firm's row from the generic template with the starter credits the plan carries. The client's brand record and the facts in its memory are what the drafts will be written from; a client with nothing on file gets a draft that says so, in the document, rather than a draft that pretends.
02
Draft, then review
An associate picks the type, names the governing jurisdiction and the counterparty, and orders the draft at 250 credits. It returns with bracketed blanks where the record was silent and a list of points to confirm with counsel. The lawyer reviews it in the firm's own word processor. The firm bills the review; the draft cost a known number of credits.
03
Investigate and minute
Before a transaction, the ordering lawyer runs Private Investigation on the counterparty's principal under a permitted purpose, attesting to it with a logged seat and timestamp. The report lands with sanctions and watchlist checks, adverse media, litigation and public records, a network map and a red, yellow, green risk panel. The audit trail shows who ordered what and when, exported to CSV for the file.

What the firm keeps control of
The engine drafts; it does not advise, sign, file or send. Investigations draw on the live public web only and never on credit-header, consumer-credit, GLBA, DPPA or sealed records, and every factual sentence carries a citation. A velocity guard holds an unusual volume of person reports for review. Need-to-know applies at the database: investigation reports are readable by the workspace owner, not by every seat.
04 — Programme terms
A known cost per draft, one statement a month.
A client on 1,500 credits a month, the Engine’s Core allotment, can draw 6 drafts in the month. The firm decides what the plan costs the client; the statement between us counts the credits the firm granted, at its tier.
| Term | As it runs today |
|---|---|
| Wholesale tiers | Tier 1 pays 50% of retail, Tier 2 45% and Tier 3 40%. Retail is 10¢ per credit; the tier is set on your partner row. |
| Starter credits per provision | Chosen per client at provisioning, defaulting to the plan's monthly allotment. Partner-initiated grants are capped at 100,000 credits per provision; every grant is an append-only ledger row. |
| Plan builder | Plans live on your partner record: a name, a monthly price, a monthly credit allotment and a tool list. You set the price your clients pay; the Engine's retail prices never appear in that conversation. |
| Statement cadence | Monthly. Credits granted in the month × 10¢ × your tier, computed from the ledger by the same function on the server and in the console. |
| Templates | generic-smb · ecommerce · local-service — each records the client workspace's tool set, task cadence and generation defaults at provisioning. |
RoadmapToday your staff’s hub chrome carries your brand name and colour; your clients run on the Engine’s chrome, and reports, drafts and mail carry the Engine’s theme. Client-facing domain theming, branded transactional email and PDFs, session-level impersonation, self-serve partner signup and client invitations are roadmap items we build on request.
